What power-user apps run into
Rune is closer to a real on-device Linux shell than a toy console. Apps in that class (think Termux-style environments, local firewalls, privacy tools) hit the same walls: store review risk, background rules, VPN/firewall APIs, and billing rules for digital unlocks. We sell full power direct so we do not have to gut the product for a listing.
Store policy
Shells, package installs, and deep network tools get extra scrutiny. Policies change year to year.
Background & battery
Sessions that stay alive when you leave the tab are hard for stores and phone makers to allow freely.
Firewall / VPN APIs
Per-app allow/block is real and legitimate — and must be labeled honestly, not as a commercial VPN sub.
Termux ≠ Termius ≠ Ubuntu
Termux = on-device Linux-style shell. Termius = SSH client only. Ubuntu on phone = heavy root/proot OS path. Rune = Termux-class shell inside Void Walker — no root — plus bridge to your PCs, Pis, and lab hosts so the hard work still runs where it belongs. Stores get an honest lighter scope first.
